I have discovered that if I position my shiny kettle (that's not a metaphor, you perverts) in the right place, it perfectly reflects the rest of my flat in a goldfish bowl style. And then, when you start dancing around the room, it looks great - as you get closer to the kettle you get proportionally bigger, a bit like a Jamiroquai video. Cool.
